Services - Currently Offered Virtually and In-Person
I offer play, art, and talk therapies that support each child's particular stage of development and mental health needs. I operate from a client-centered perspective and integrate a combination of other techniques derived from mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and exposure therapy, to name a few. In consultation with caregivers (as appropriate), children are given the space to process their experiences, learn and practice new skills, improve their self-esteem, build healthy relationships, and so much more. Typically scheduled once per week or every other week.

Group settings can provide a unique way for kids to see themselves mirrored through the eyes of their peers. Groups therapy offers a safe environment where children may experience healing interactions, practice new skills, feel a sense of belonging, and create new friendships. Groups may be structured and follow a curriculum (similar to a class format) and have a set number of sessions, or may be unstructured and provide opportunities to address relationship challenges in real time on an ongoing basis.

Wondering how to communicate more effectively with your kids? Looking for support in navigating challenges in the school setting or at home? Parent coaching can be a helpful way for caregivers to connect with a mental health professional to obtain useful resources or referrals, learn more effective ways of communicating, and examine ongoing patterns of relating that are no longer beneficial. I offer parent coaching in conjunction with individual therapy with your child. Scheduled as needed.
